The 5th International Conference on Electrical Sciences and Technologies in the Maghreb (CISTEM) is a privileged gathering that brings together scientists and researchers working in the field of Electrical Engineering and related Technologies, and more particularly those interested in sharing their experiences.

Initiated in 2014, CISTEM aims to create high-quality channels of exchange to consolidate interactions between researchers and industrialists from Maghreb countries, strengthen their links with scientific and technological players in Europe, and thus enable greater visibility for Maghreb Scientific Research institutions in the field of Electrical Energy and its most innovative applications.

Each of the four editions -CISTEM 2014 in Tunis, CISTEM 2016 in Marrakech, CISTEM 2018 in Algiers and CISTEM 2022 in Tunis - brought together around 230 researchers. All accepted papers, having met the necessary criteria, were published in IEEE Xplore. In addition, a selection of these papers was submitted to high impact journals.

The 5th edition, CISTEM 2024, will be held in Rabat from October 30 to November 01, 2024. This edition will be particularly rich in plenary sessions and round tables of the highest quality, with regular and special sessions covering current issues in Electrical Engineering and discussing the broad spectrum of scientific and technological innovations that address them, as well as the socio-economic challenges of the energy and technology transition.

In particular, CISTEM 2024 will focus on exchanges between university researchers and various players in the industrial world, and will be an excellent opportunity to strengthen and build new inter-Maghreb and Euro-Maghreb networks with the aim of setting up innovative projects tailored to the region's problems in the field of Electrical Engineering.
